Description

Electromechanical level sensor SPMS-4, Nivomer

The electronic module is a sensor control system based on a microcontroller and

is additionally equipped with a converter that converts direct voltage into alternating voltage when powered by a 24V DC source.

The sealing unit is designed to prevent dust from entering the hub.

The simplest sealing unit consists of a ball bearing protected by rubber seals and a metal cover that protects the rubber covers from mechanical damage.

The second type of sealing unit is additionally equipped with a sealing ring.

The third type is designed for the most severe sensor operating conditions.

Two surfaces of the sealing elements, one movable and the other fixed, pivotally mounted in the hub,

are pressed against each other by a spring located in the fixed element.

Between the rubbing elements there is a flat Teflon ring.

The fixed elements are sealed in the hub with round rubber rings. This seal protects the hub from dust and moisture. This ensures reliable operation of the sensor over a long period of time.
